Philosophical Significance
Core Meaning
Krishna says that those who stay devoted to him with steady love are given buddhi-yoga — a clear inner wisdom. This wisdom helps a person see what truly matters and guides them toward the Divine.
The gift is practical: it shapes how you think and choose, so your actions lead you closer to God instead of away. Love and steady practice open the heart and mind to this guidance, not mere ritual or knowledge alone.
It teaches that steady, loving devotion creates the right inner conditions for insight and right action to arise naturally.
Life Application
- Keep a small, regular practice (short prayer, meditation, or reading) done with sincere feeling rather than perfect form.
- When faced with choices, pause briefly and ask for clear guidance; prefer actions rooted in love and long-term good.
- Cultivate consistency: steady habits matter more than occasional intensity.
Reflection Question
What one steady, loving practice can I start today to open myself to clearer inner guidance?
