Philosophical Significance
Core Meaning
Krishna says he fills and supports the whole world in an unmanifest, hidden way. Everything exists within his presence, even if we do not see it.
At the same time, he is not confined to the bodies or minds of living beings. He is both the inner support of life and beyond all limited forms.
This teaches that the divine is both near and beyond. We are supported by a deeper reality, yet our small self is not the whole truth.
Life Application
- Remember the divine presence in simple moments: breathe, give thanks, and act with care knowing life rests in something larger.
- Do your duties fully but do not overly identify with roles, success, or failure; stay steady inside.
- Treat others gently, seeing them as part of the same life that pervades everything.
Reflection Question
Do I find my true identity in changing roles and feelings, or in the quiet presence that supports them all?
