Rāja Vidyā Yog
यथाऽऽकाशस्थितो नित्यं वायुः सर्वत्रगो महान्। तथा सर्वाणि भूतानि मत्स्थानीत्युपधारय।।9.6।।
yathākāśha-sthito nityaṁ vāyuḥ sarvatra-go mahān tathā sarvāṇi bhūtāni mat-sthānītyupadhāraya

Translation
As the mighty wind, moving everywhere, always rests in the ether, so too, know that all beings rest in Me.
Philosophical Significance
Core Meaning
The verse compares the wind and the sky to explain how the Divine is present everywhere. Just as the wind moves freely but rests in the vast space, all life moves and acts yet remains within the Divine.
This means every living thing is supported and held by a single source. The Divine is both the ground in which creatures exist and the presence that surrounds them.
Knowing this helps us see that we are not isolated. It frees us from fear and invites caring action, because others are not separate from the same living support.
Life Application
- When you feel anxious, pause and breathe while imagining being held by a calm, wide space; this can steady your mind.
- Treat others with respect and compassion, remembering they share the same inner support you do.
- Do your duty without clinging to results, trusting that a larger presence sustains the outcomes.
