Philosophical Significance
Core Meaning
The verse says that the Divine is the original seed or source of every living thing. Everything that exists, whether moving or still, depends on that single source to come into being and to continue.
It points to a deep unity behind the many forms we see. Nothing can truly exist apart from that source; all life and matter are connected to and sustained by it.
This teaches that the world is not a collection of separate, isolated things but an interlinked whole with a common origin and support.
Life Application
- When you feel separate or anxious, remember that you and others share the same source; this can calm fear and reduce pride.
- Treat people, animals, and nature with respect, since all are expressions of the same underlying reality.
- Begin or end your day with a short moment of gratitude or surrender, acknowledging that life’s support comes from beyond your single effort.
Reflection Question
How would my choices change if I truly felt all beings came from the same source?
