Translation

Sanjaya said, Having thus spoken, O king, the great Lord of Yoga, Hari (Krishna), showed Arjuna His supreme form as the Lord.

Philosophical Significance

Core Meaning

This verse tells that after speaking, Krishna revealed to Arjuna his highest, divine form. It points to a moment when the ordinary view of life is lifted and a deeper, larger reality becomes visible.

Philosophically, it means the supreme truth can be shown to a sincere seeker. Seeing that form brings awe, humility, and a reminder that the world and its worries are part of a greater whole.

Life Application

  • Take moments of quiet to open yourself to a bigger perspective instead of reacting from fear or ego.
  • Practice humility and trust: accept there are larger forces and purposes beyond immediate understanding.
  • When facing hardship, try to step back and ask how this fits into a larger story rather than making instant judgments.

Reflection Question

When have you felt a glimpse of something larger than yourself, and how did it change your view or actions?
