Chapter 13 Verse 28
Kṣhetra Kṣhetrajña Vibhāg Yog
समं सर्वेषु भूतेषु तिष्ठन्तं परमेश्वरम्।विनश्यत्स्वविनश्यन्तं यः पश्यति स पश्यति।।13.28।।
samaṁ sarveṣhu bhūteṣhu tiṣhṭhantaṁ parameśhvaram vinaśhyatsv avinaśhyantaṁ yaḥ paśhyati sa paśhyati

Translation
He who sees the Supreme Lord existing truly in all beings, the imperishable within the perishable, sees indeed.
Philosophical Significance
Core Meaning
This verse says that the same eternal presence — the Supreme Lord or inner Self — lives equally in every living being. The bodies and forms change, but the life within is not destroyed.
To truly "see" means to recognise that inner, imperishable reality wherever you look. That real vision cuts through outer differences like caste, status, or appearance.
When you see like this, your feelings and actions change: fear of loss eases, anger and pride fade, and you naturally act with care and fairness toward others.
Life Application
- Before reacting, remind yourself that the person you face shares the same inner life; this helps calm anger and promotes respectful responses.
- Treat daily tasks and people as service to that inner presence — small acts of kindness become meaningful.
- Spend a few minutes each day silently noticing the life inside yourself and others to strengthen this vision.
